Want More Hosting provides web hosting, domain registration and related services from Buea, South West Region, Cameroon. This policy explains what personal information we collect and how we handle it.
What we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, phone number, business name and address, provided when you sign up.
- Payment information — we do not store card or Mobile Money credentials. Payments are processed by our payment provider, who handles those details directly. We retain a record of the transaction reference and amount.
- Technical data — IP addresses, server logs and access records, kept for security and troubleshooting.
- Support communications — the content of tickets, emails and messages you send us.
Why we collect it
To create and manage your hosting account, process payments, provide support, send service notices such as invoices and maintenance announcements, and to protect our infrastructure from abuse.
Domain registration and WHOIS
When you register a domain, the registry requires certain contact details, some of which may appear in the public WHOIS database depending on the extension. Where privacy protection is available for a domain extension, we will tell you.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with: our payment provider (to process your payments), domain registries and registrars (where required to register a domain), and our infrastructure provider (where necessary to deliver the service). We may disclose information where required by law.
The AI console
When you use the AI assistant, the instruction you type is processed to determine which hosting action to perform. We do not use your website content or customer data to train AI models.
Data retention
We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal and accounting obligations. Backups are retained for the period stated in your plan.
Your rights
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data. Contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Cookies
Our website and client area use cookies necessary for logging in and maintaining your session. We do not use advertising cookies.
Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit (SSL), access controls, and regular security updates. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
